On the 31st of December, Love, the new Venetian way of celebrating New Year, returns to Piazza San Marco and Piazza Ferretto in Venice, ready to set the two hearts of the city beating on one of the most important nights of the year.

One unanimous kiss to send a message of love, peace and brotherhood to the world. This is the simple but profound gesture, that will welcome in the New Year at an event that is destined to become the focus of media attention and a worldwide symbol of goodwill as well as a very special memory for both the city and all those who will be there to enjoy this new, unforgettable night in Venice.
The programme of Piazza Ferretto appeals to a young audience, through an effective mix of dj-set, ska music and stand-up comedy. New this year, the spectacular lighting effects that greet the arrival of the new year.
The format of Piazza San Marco this year will be reviewed: from the central tower a spectacular program of music and lights will be performed, with projections that color setting of the historic buildings surrounding the square. At midnight the Bacino di San Marco will host a fireworks display that will light up the New Year's Eve. And for all, a toast with Bellini Canella.
